This Week's Photo, #33
Oh boy!
What a journey to and through the south of France thus far! The photo for this week is probably the most unique place I’ll have went during my trip down here, which will conclude on New Year’s Eve when I fly to Portugal.
It was cold, yes, but not as cold as it looks at Cirque de Gavarnie, located in the central Pyrénées mountains (the range borders Spain).
A roughly 3-hour roundtrip hike led me to this spot, well worth cold toes and temporarily damp feet.
Sometimes, I want to say more about my journeys and go into all sorts of details about what’s transpired and what everything means to me. But then I realize I’m practically typing this into the ether, and for my mom, who doesn’t need to know all the details anyhow!
How about you, one of the five people to click onto this email, just enjoy the picture!

Love this photo! I'm always drawn to the blues of nature ... this snowscape, that unique hue in the chunks of glacial ice, the various shades in bodies of water and that particular blue in the sky before the blackness of night.
